01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Costa Coffee at Lakeside Village, Doncaster is a vibrant coffee shop and café that truly embodies the warm and inviting spirit Costa is known for. Located conveniently in Unit 30a, The White Rose Way, this spot has become a beloved haven for both regulars and newcomers looking for that perfect coffee experience.

Stepping into Costa Coffee at Lakeside Village, you’re welcomed by a buzzing atmosphere reminiscent of a community hub, where friendly baristas not only craft excellent beverages but take genuine care in explaining the diverse coffee options available. Abi Tinker’s praise highlights this beautifully: “A super little set up, busy and a nice atmosphere. The three ladies serving knew their stuff and were happy to explain different coffees and options to us.” This personalized touch makes each visit feel special, whether you’re a coffee aficionado or a casual drinker.

The coffee selection itself is impressive. From robust espressos to the creamy medium cappuccino—a customer favorite noted for its generous size—each cup is meticulously prepared to satisfy your taste buds. If you’re visiting during the festive season, expect seasonal specials that add an extra layer of warmth and indulgence to your visit, as Ryan Houghton enthusiastically mentions, “They also offer a lot of festive drinks during the Christmas Period which again, always takes my fancy!”

Beyond the coffee, Costa at Lakeside also impresses with its range of delicious desserts and other treats. Mike I’s review underlines how dessert here is worth savoring, perfectly complementing their high-quality beverages. The combination of good coffee and tempting sweet offerings creates a comforting experience whether you’re popping in for a quick caffeine fix or settling in for a relaxing break.

The staff’s friendly and efficient service shines even during busy times, ensuring queues move swiftly and customers feel attended to. Susan Grindle appreciated this dedication despite a rainy, bustling evening: “The staff were doing their best to keep the queue moving… The hot chocolate was tasty and hot and of a good size.” This level of care fosters a welcoming environment that makes Costa more than just a coffee store—it’s a community spot where customers feel valued and appreciated.

While indoor seating is pleasantly modern and comfortable, some suggest that outdoor seating could be expanded to enhance the experience further, though space constraints are understandable. Russell Danby’s mention of the convenience of a drive-thru option adds to Costa’s appeal, perfect for those on the go who don’t want to compromise on quality.

Overall, Costa Coffee at Lakeside Village offers a consistent and refreshing coffee experience characterized by knowledgeable, friendly staff, quality drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re local or passing through Doncaster, it’s a dependable choice to grab a satisfying cup of coffee, enjoy some tasty treats, and feel right at home in a bustling yet friendly environment.

I regularly visit Lakeside Doncaster and within my visit, I go to Costa Lakeside too. Their range of drinks and goodies on offer are great, with lots of customisables too! They also offer a lot of festive drinks during the Christmas Period which again, always takes my fancy! My partner also enjoys a good Costa Coffee when we are passing and enjoys a lot of the coffee offers that they have. They also do a range of sizes which makes it more than worth while! The Costa App also helps to save a few quid when purchasing Costa Items and saving money with any drink or food is always ideal!

Was quite busy when we visited there was a bit of a queue but it was dinner time and it was chucking it down so that didn't help. Got a table ok and the staff were doing their best to keep the queue moving. The hot chocolate was tasty and hot and of a good size. Hubby has a card for here so when he's got enough points he'll get a free cuppa

Always love a Costa. Five star ratings are usually because of the staff. This one in Doncaster was great. Horrible wet day outside, warm, smiley welcome inside. Usual fair on sale but all done well and with the intention of making it a good experience for the customer.
